• Note: New memberships start on the day of approval and run for 12 months. It includes a one-time $35 application fee. 
• You get access to our active to List Serve where you can ask business specific questions and get answers from other business owners.
• You get the opportunity to read questions from other members so that you can learn from other people in the same situation as you.
• Members receive discounted rates for our Annual conference. The location changes annually but the conference is one you won't want to miss to get the most benefit - Business information while obtaining CEUs.
• Members receive discounted rates to products and subscriptions to various sponsors throughout the year.
• Members receive discounted or complimentary online CEUs throughout a calendar year. 
• Members get to connect with other people just like them - business owners who already own a business, are growing their business, looking to acquire a business, trying to sell their business, near retirement, etc.

An affiliate membership is a for a specific subgroup of members. This is for people who have previously been an AAPPSPA Member, but no longer meet requirements. This may be due to selling a business or retiring.

• Members receive discounted or complimentary online CEUs throughout a calendar year. In 2023- all members are being offered complimentary CEUs to meet ASHA requirements for DEI, Supervision, and Ethics.
• Members get to connect with other people just like them - business owners who already own a business, are growing their business, looking to acquire a business, trying to sell their business, near retirement, etc. 

In order to qualify as a Life Member of AAPPSPA you must fall into one of two categories:

• You are over 65 years of age AND have been an AAPPSPA member for 25 consecutive years
• You are an AAPPSPA Past President

If you do meet one of these categories, you do not qualify as a Life Member and should apply for a different membership type.

If you were an AAPPSPA member from the previous calendar year, you are a Renewal Membership. (If you were a member previously but it was not the most recent calendar year, then please re-apply as a new member).
